Hi El, how are you?
I'm going to be bringing the Working Stiffs column back to life soon - if you don't remember it, it was the interview series about the different jobs hootoo researchers do. The last one appeared sometime during the Cambrian period, I think.
Anyway, I think you were on the list of potential interview-ees. Are you still interested?

Hey! I'm very excited, as it happens - off to Venice this afternoon!
Yeah, I'd be interested. Not sure how much I'd really be able to say - some of it's a bit hush-hush, but I think it would be fine.
I'm back on Friday, if you want to pursue it.

The hush-hush factor shouldn't be a problem - I'm not really aiming for specifics, as much as what it's like to be in each interviewee's line of work. What life's like as a [job description], you know?

Sorry I haven't got back to you before this!
I'd prefer email - that way we can keep it a surprise for any unsuspecting readers!
Drop a line to h2workingstiffs At yahoo dot co.uk - no rush though!
