h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello, just took a look at your Roman entries after reading in a conversation thread that you had written some. I'm writing the 'History of Somerset' offline at the moment and was getting paranoid about contradicting other entries already on site. It's going to have to be a university project as I've only just got to the Saxons and it's already on part 9.

I have to say I'm impressed by the sheer number of entries you've amassed in your time at H2G2. It fair puts mine to shame. Anyway, just thought I would say 'hello and keep up the good work'. I enjoyed reading your Roman series and hope my Somerset history project is received by other Hootooers with as much appreciation as your own guide entries.

The project sounds great, will you let me know when you put it on site so I can read it?

Keep going with the project, but don't feel you have to mention everything, people are less likely to read it if it's overloaded with detail. And don't worry about numbers, it's quality that counts. Honestly, many of my entries (including the Romans ones) were just adapted from essays I wrote at school and college, plus a couple of uni ones.
