Hi Elentari
Wondered if you could give me some info about the Roman method of exucution by crucifixion? Reason is, I'm writing an Entry about St Helena (discoverer of the 'True Cross' at A10929567. I'm sure I saw on 'The Discovery Channel' this week that Romnan execution 'crosses' were, in fact, just verticle stakes. However various internet sites gicve explicit descriptions of actual crosses and how they were made, with special names for the vertical component and for the horizontal component. Wondered if you could clarify for me?

Hi BigAl!
I would love to be able to help you out, but I'm afraid I've never really come accross any info on that! I'm not an expert or anything,
Good luck finding the information!
