What are Satellites, Futures or Challengers?

Sorry- hadn't spotted this yet...

ATP is the men's tour, it stands for the Association of Tennis Professionals (but only male professionals, for some reason)

WTA is the women's tour, the Women's Tennis Association. Bit silly of me to forget to explain those

Satellites, Futures and Challengers are all small tournaments that lower ranked players play in an attempt to earn enough ranking points to get automatic entry into the main draws of larger events.

Maybe a picture - but I don't think there is one

You may want to add that the US Open also has equal prize money, while the French and Wimbledon have a discrepency between men and women.

Perhaps get rid of the bit in the US Open bit about September 11th.
