York here I come!
Elentari Posted Oct 23, 2005
I meant a bit more specifically than that. I just ask becasue it's been raining in York a lot and I know it has in Solihull (my home town). I just wondered what it's like in the rest of the country.
I understand if you'd rather not say, though.

Oh yeah of course you did! Serves me right for posting when I'm tiered, I guess.
I'm in the Newbury area of Berkshire. If that helps, oh and it's raining again.

Well it's still raining, but I'm not trusting the weather much at the moment- we had a hailstorm a couple of days ago.
Still I'm glad it's raining instead of just grey and dull, I always feel really slow on those days. When it's raining you can curl up under a blanket with a good book, and listen.

Yes, in nice warm clothes and you feel really safe and comfortable because you're not out in it.

Awww.
Well it does help the plants grow.
And it is nice in the morning when it's been raining all night and it's lovely and fresh outside.
I guess rain's not so bad.

Urgh, I still have my own version of Fresher's flu - a very persistent cold. I'm not the only one either.

When I say cold, what I should say is cough. Though I am bunged up right now, but that's only just strated...

Awww I hope you feel better soon, I know it can be really misserable when you feel bunged up. Drink camomile tea if you have some, I find it helps when you have a bad throaght (as lomg as it's not too hot.)

Thanks, but it wasn't too bad. I still have my cold but I'm not bunged up at the moment.

Just got back from a halloween party - some interesting costumes:
A guy dressed in a cardboard Police Box/Tardis
A guy in military style clothes with a Saddam Hussein mask
A guy dressed as Bananaman
and 2 guys dressed as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (seperately of each other, as far as I could tell).
Tartaronne, you will be pleased to hear I did haven't a cocktail, even though they were available!
My cough is getting worse again.
