I just popped by to say hi!smiley - cheers
Feel free to pop into my little space sometime.
I'm nobody important here, just me. And that is just fine.
It is nice to meet you.
And for the record, life at our house can be weirder than 'Hollyweird' at times.smiley - weird

Hey there! Nice to hear from ya!

BTW: Does the weirdness in your house involve a bunch of people who get paid to dress up as famous characters, such as Superman and Yoda who stand outside a theater all day waiting to get their pictures taken?

Nah! My kids do that just as a matter of daily life!
Seriously, we are all very performance oriented. We come from a long line of actors and musicians. (And royalty. That is another performance of a different kind.)smiley - weird
Weirdness is kind of a way of life here. I would be lost without it.
People tell me that Hollywood is kind of a dirty city. (Not dirty as in rude, but as in unclean.) Is that true? I had a friend from New Delhi, and he was disgusted with the state of the streets in Hollywood. Go figure! Someone used to the sight of absolute poverty and hopelessness thinking that!?
Whatever. I would really like to visit Hollywood someday.
Well, maybe we shall talk another day. For now I have to get some of my brood off to bed.

It's not really as dirty as say... South Central L. A., but Hollywood Blvd isn't some place I'd take my kids to until they were at least 16. Sure there's all the museums and theaters.... interspersed with sex shops, nude bars and stuff...

Big cities are not really my taste, anyway. I enjoy visiting them at times, but can't stand to be in them for very long, even though I spent the first 38 years of my life living in a citysmiley - yuk.
I guess I am just a farm girl.
I think it has something to do with having so many children at home. I like open spaces, and crowds terrify me.
I got lost in central London (England) once. What a horrible feeling.
Anyway, it is really interesting to hear about other places.
Do you ever get bored with the things you see around you? Do you become numb to such odd things?
Maybe we'll talk again soon.
