Hi! I missed this until now! How's it goin'?

Eh, kind of the same old same old around here. Still fighting wrist and elbow problems, still not on solid footing at work. doing good, starting to get old and sick.

How 'bout you? Life treating you well up there? I imagine your weather's a lot more pleasant than ours right now!

the arm's not better...I assume there has been Some improvement though? *sigh* Ah yes agings...

It's a shame they age so quickly...I mean you can get So attached to them, then in what seems like only a few years - 'game over'/'curtain time' whatever...it's sad!

Fortunately there has been SOME improvement... things are nowhere close to as they should be, but I have somewhat better use of the arm with less pain. Pretty touchy right now from injections the did Thursday, but recovering from that.

As far as the dogs, I'm just bracing myself. I know the time's coming soon, and I dread it!

Still catching good bands at your local?

I know what you mean I suppose ...about those slow-healing injuries & I guess themortality thing too!

Oh yeah, still catching a few good ones...can't believe I missed 2 nights of Cornell Dupree!

How did you manage to miss BOTH nights of someone you like???

I'm getting Too good@talking myself out of things...my alibi for last night was a tornado watch, not Warning just a watch!

You skipped a good night of tunes for a watch??? I grew up in KS... we didn't cancel any events unless there was not only a WARNING, but it had to be on the same side of town, and headed our way...

Of course, we also walked 5 miles to school, uphill (both ways), whilst fending off grizzly bears with our looseleaf notebooks...

On the plus side though I Did get some ACEing done, which I'd neglected a bit earlier in the week. And I had my Black Amber-which they don't serve!( http://www.bigrockbeer.com & click brands)

I had 4 days off (last one today) and had planned to travel, but that fell through. Just as happy, was nice to lounge around for a bit. Got some housework done, played with the kids. Worked out ok!

Yeah a quiet lounging around weekend here too! Worked out nicely. (Ok, maybe not 100% but nicely all the same...maybe 97-98%)

It's funny. As a kid, having to take naps was horrible. Now I look forward to lazy weekends and extended naps!

Getting old, but I knew that already...

Yup*sigh* gettin' old...but it beats the alternative!

I can't argue that point!
