Yeh, I feel a bit of a stranger, no way of reading backlog for all the time I've been away! Have moved to Australia, hoping that this will aid my getting better, the laid back lifestyle, the sunshine, good healthy food. Only time will tell.

Certainly good to spot your nickname again after all this time! Australia eh? Whereabouts? My brother lived in Sydney & I usually converse 3 or 4 days a week with a good friend I've made in Melbourne. And coincidentally I just-in my ACE role-welcomed an Aussie who's working on a Graduate Diploma in e-learning & has joined as a course requirement - U1500739 . Life is treating me fine now...I was hospitalized this past Aug. with serious aspiration pneumonia - drained the lungs & all that! Much Much better now though! for the URL, I'll save that & peek in every now'n'then.

So sorry to hear that you were so poorly, but great that you have recovered.

It happened quite abruptly...the only warning I had were chills a couple nights before & some chest pain & shortness of breath on the 13th(not that I'm supertitious, but...hmm?) Luckily I was out in public & was quickly whisked into an ambulance & off to the hospital!

Flip-di-jip ! That must have been really frightening. What brought that on?

Well, I had brain surgery years ago & it seems with age I've been gradually collectin bits of food in the lungs...or the epiglottis isn't as reliable as it once was.*sigh*Ah, the ageing process...
