So how did you music night go last night? Did you have a good time?

Oh it went very well luv, some wonderful & it wasn'tr all that busy.*gives her a gentle squeeze*

A very talented trombone player & his band, then among other things a nice version of The Beatles' "Michelle" later.

Don't you feel upset for the musicians when you know they are good. Yet there is hardly an audience to appreciate them? Shame....

Oh, there's usually an appreciative audience, even though it may be smaller. And actually there was a fair crowd last night...they weren't frequently ordering snacks for some reason. But yes, occasionally I do feel sorry for them. About a year ago we had a German quartet doing improvisational or Free-Jazz, which is quite popular in Germany. However they drew a very small though appreciative crowd here.

Until they have been received and build up a reputation, I suppose they will only have smaller audiences... word of mouth usually does the trick!
