Just noticed you online Laura! Yes, very good...spent a part of Christmas Day watchin' Finding Nemo with my nieces.

I like that film , not quite as good as Shrek but good all the same.

I agree Shrek was great!!

Also ate very well over the holidays & spent a fair bit of time with family...& a couple friends.

I'm looking forward to Shrek 2

Went to see Return of the King on my birthday with my family and a friend and then spent Christmas with my family. Been working over the holidays but going back to university soon, I've got exams to do.

Right, belated Happy Birthday...must remember Return of the King, now that initial crowds've died down.

Thanks , sure isn't a good time of year for a birthday. Return of the King is better than the first two films for sure. It's very well done.

Right, I've heard it's the best of the 3...a local movie reviewer who rates films by kernels of popcorn (& routinely only gives 2 or 3 kernels), gave "Return..." 5!

I've only normally seen films rated by s. It is good though, I have to ignore all the scientific impossibilities, but there's lots of action and a story. Normally it's a case of one or the other.

Right, usually they rate by stars...or there're these 2 American critics who give a movie either "thumbs up" or "thumbs down".

I think I prefer the stars, (or the , doens't reallly make any difference I s'pose)

Had the Had turkey and brussel sprout pie myself and will probably be have it for quite some time to come.

Some leftover chinese food here; shrimp fried rice with scallops, prawns & veggies in black bean sauce...& I stirred in some Sambal Olek (chili pepper paste.)

Sounds good. I miss cooking at the moment. Ah well, not long until I get the kitchen back.

Yes, I'm enjoyin' a bit of a break too, for now.

The only thing I cook at work is fried eggs. Get a bit fed up with them after a while.
