h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Sincere apologies to all for not getting back here sooner (& & s & s), to reassure you all that I hadn't sailed over the edge of the earth or anything. My computer has locked itself in 'safe mode', & while I do have about 9 months left on my onsite warranty, I decided to try & catch up on my all too neglected housecleaning (& pretty much everything in life that's taken a backseat to h2g2 - & in alot of cases been gradually pushed farther & farther to the back of the bus.

That seems to be how I handle things - if there's a problem, rather than try to fix it I just go around it, or leave it alone for awhile if need be. You know, don't make waves just go with the flow...must've been a Buddhist in a past life . You can leave messages for me here, & I'll be checking in periodically using an alternate computer until mine's back online (which hopefully shouldn't be too, too long.)

Again, apologies for my abrupt disappearance - I wasn't abducted by aliens, or anything. Hope to be back soon... & s & all!

Don't ever scare me like that again!

Yes, have missed you all too! & s I've been enjoying RL...saw/heard some great music/musicians at our 24th annual Jazz festival(great opening night show by Little Feat abbi...their first long awaited appearance here, believe it or not!) Been getting out'n'about more now that the weather's better. Also been getting a bit more , some of it from our local Belgian Chocolatier ( http://www.bernardcallebaut.com ) And, there's now a local Roaster selling freshly or recently roasted Costa Rican beans at our local Farmer's Mkt.

Tomorrow's the start of our Street Performers festival - acrobats, mimes, fire acts, jugglers, buskers, etc from places like Japan, the Netherlands, & Australia (not to mention all over Canada & the States.) Hope to be getting someone in very soon to look at my 'beast' & get 'er up & running again. Trust that things're going well for everybody (be sure to pass along hello's & s whenever my name comes up) & I should be back online more regularly very soon.

And thanks for your thoughts & messages, it certainly is nice to know people care...not that I ever doubted it .
