Words of The Week
Originally started as a silly Friday email of Words(usually obscure place names) with fictional definitions (mainly stolen from Douglas Adams' "Meaning of Liff"), WoW was emailed to a few unlucky recipients, WoW quickly became an institution. Although the "words" were always an integral feature, we soon started to add other items which were often funnier than the words. Spammed to hundreds of people across the globe probly, it enlivened many people's Friday's and just annoyed others who didn't want it or didn't understand it. Thursday night became WoW night - the whole evening dedicated to creating an overly long and vaguely amusing e-circular. I was soon joined by others who wanted to experience the pride of creating WoW, and these "Guest Presenters" developed their own cult following, as did WoW itself. I got bored after 26 issues, but as there are a few die-hard fans out there who keep asking for more, I am proud to publish the whole lot here, and will occasionally be adding to it. Enjoy.Conversations

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
