Greetings
First, a word on being a researcher. Researcher suggests to me a certain amount of authority, accountability, etc., so when I realized that upon joining I would be a reseacher, I was a bit disconcerted. I don't want the burden of doing research (which can be a lot like work.) However I have come to like the idea. I guess have done extensive research on say, being a student at a liberal arts college. If this is meant to be a guide to life, I supose we all have our areas of expertise.
Anyway my name is Samuel if you care to know; actually it's Samuel regardless. I read about this site in The Salmon of Doubt and I have been impressed with it so far. I am especially interested in philosophy, world politics, and anything similarly abstract and/or "macro." I'm trying to think of what else someone might want to know about me, but I guess if anyone cares to have read this far they can ask me. Oh yes and don't mind my spelling.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
