Had my first sit-through of Guys and Dolls last night. Jem was just mesmerising - she owns that stage when she's on it! We were discussing on the way home what was her favourite song and outfit, and I had to admit I hadn't a clue what anyone else was wearing during Bushel 
The best part was overhearing other members of the audience going "Isn't she terrific?"
It is rather odd to be watching your daughter on stage a) in a wedding dress, and b) taking her clothes off 
. All in the best possible taste of course!

Oh, yes - Take Off your Mink!
My mum found it hard to adjust to the fact that I would sometimes be doing things on stage she didn't particularly approve of (e.g. being a nasty Nazi!) in my twenties, so it sounds like you've got a good head-start on that front!
I find it very hard to be objective when I'm watching people I know, so I can't imagine how difficult that must be as a proud mum! It must have been so wonderful to overhear the comments from other audience members - did you tell them "that's my daughter!"?
I hope Jem really enjoys every moment (and you as well, of course!).
