I have been reading your postings on the Jerry Springer thread with much interest - it's very refreshing to get a Christian point of view that is as open-minded as yours, which is not the norm of what we usually get here on h2g2 (unfortunately).

So, I have come to ask your assistance on another thread, at the moment discussing the idea of being a virgin when one marries. I thought it was stated by the Christian Church that only women had to be virgins, others are saying otherwise but are not really sure about this. Could you help us out there?

You'll probably have to read a bit of the backlog to get the gist.

And while I'm here I will also invite you to take a look at my h2g2 friends photo gallery and invite you to join us there, if you would like to.

Maybe see you there? smiley - smiley

Open-mindedness tends not to be a wuality you get on-line at all, whether it is Christians, atheists or whoever. I'm glad I sound reasonable in my postings. I try to be honest to what I believe.

What's a 'wuality'?

And thank your for joining in on the thread - it helps to get another viewpoint, as always. smiley - ok

I was brought up RC (sort of) and found it just didn't suit me. I'm not anti-Christian at all (as Della sometimes says of me) but I do question a lot of . . . not so much personal beliefs as the stuff The Church does. You know? I see a huge difference between what individuals choose to believe and what the Church - huge politial structure - does.
