h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I think theatre types (myself included ) are such free spirits that some inflicted discipline is exactly what we need to give oomph to our art. The sad truth is that people DO judge on our outward appearance, and the point is to keep distractions away from the pure art form, so that the point is made as clear and direct as possible. That's what I figger.

I've seen gals with belly button rings ripped out in fights, a gal whose earlobe was halved when an earring caught on her pillow at night, and nasty eyebrow infections. Not to mention botched and infected tatts.

I am covering up my tattoo only as long as I am on campus, because the school I work for is anti-tatts and piercing, and I don't wanna create an issue. I do let it show around town, and have let my friends see it. (It's looking SOOO much better !

couldn't agree more about the "theatre types". most are motivated and energised by those who take action to limit the actions of others...

speaking of botched tatts... people get them when they're skinny and when they get older, the fat rolls in (out, but you know) and the tatts get warped and messed beyond recognition. that's probably the only thing I'd worry about as far as tatts are concerned.

I have been on the couch all weekend watching Little Women over and over (the version with Wynona Ryder). I was sick and a little depressed, but am feeling much better now... which is good because I have to sub in the morning. Fortunately I'm subbing for the drama teacher, so it's sure to be a lot of fun.
