Grand Moff Adon
Life goes by,
Slowly at first,
But gains momentum
With each little burst
Of Life, of Love,
Of things to come...
Until at last
The game is done.
I look in the sky
And see a beautiful thing...
The light of the sun
On the vulture's wing.
Introduction
I learned about h2g2 from Douglas Adams' posthumous book, The Salmon of Doubt, so I thought I'd check it out. I've been a fan of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy" ever since I read the first book, and the news of Adams' death was tragic and unexpected.
About Myself
I am a Star Wars fan, and a science fiction fan in general. I enjoy the works of Arthur C Clarke, Ray Bradbury, C J Cherryh, and H G Wells, just to name a few. Grand Moff Adon is the name I use for roleplaying on the forums at http://groups.msn.com/fscRP I fancy myself an artist, a writer, and a computer programmer in training (though I can write graphing calculator games already).Articles I've Written
