NEVER VISITED THE COSMOS!
In the United States of America, the state of South Dakota is famous, among other things, for Mount Rushmore. Eight miles from this great monument to former presidents, is a place known as "Cosmos".
Apparently, the gravitational laws of nature are strangely different in this small area of the world. So much so, in fact, that people feel a mysterious 'pressure' exerted upon their bodies as they approach the area. Everyone seems to be standing at an angle that is not perpendicular!
Although I have never been to the Cosmos, I wonder if any of you Hitch Hikers out there have? It is 17 miles south of Rapid City and not far from U.S. Highway 16.
If you have been, then why not write about your experience in the Guide. Give it the title 'Cosmos', or use the word in the title, so it will be easy to find.
If anyone has any knowldege of what Rudyard Kipling wrote about the place, when he once visited the area, then I would be interested to know.
