Hello and welcome to me!
I am a 32 year old American (I know, boo)male, who has been a fan of HHGTTG since junior high school. I have read the series countless times, and recently became aware of the h2g2 site while reading Salmon of Doubt. However, I have always been a BBC fan, ever since when as a kid, I stopped watching cartoons on Sat. mornings(a BIG USA ritual) and started watching Doctor Who reruns. British comedy has always appealed to me, and I have been a fan of such groups as Python, Fry and Laurie, AbFab, etc.
I am very much looking forward to experiencing the Guide for real, and maybe even becoming a valued researcher. After all, practice makes Prefect.
