Ohio and Missouri sure brought home the bacon. Extra points to Ohio, of course () because we elected a Dem Governor, several statewide offices, made gains in the state legislature and sent another Dem to Congress.

They have clocks that are counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until Dubya is out of office.

And the stuff about the BBC radio thing is in my journal. You can go to Five Live and replay the programs. I wasn't as good as a professional commentator, obviously, but i wasn't awful, either. The first night I talked about the Talent/McCaskill race and how the stem cell issue might affect voter turnout. Then election night I gave very preliminary results and told them how my county ran out of ballots!

Next stop CNN Wow, though. I thought I was a big deal when Jimster mentioned me briefly in an h2g2 promo for some British radio. You were actually on it. Nice.

I've tried the Five Live thinger, but I don't have time to go through 4 hours right now. I'll listen to it later though Did you talk about Michael J. Fox and Limbaugh? The Stem Cell ballot initiative passed, didn't it?

Bush is a lame duck now anyways. At least the Republicans appear to be handling their losses with grace. Santorum, Bush, Allen, Chafee they've all been conciliatory enough. And Bush threw Rummy down the well. It's a new day in America

You can fast forward through the stuff you don't want to listen to. You can jump ahead or back in 1 minute and 15 minute increments. But, don't feel obligated to listen.

I wasn't on very long either time. Talked briefly about stem cell on the first night. Didn't mention Limbaugh. What a jerk.

I'm feeling pretty chuffed about the election, that's for sure. And I find Pelosi impressive. I feel confident that she will do a good job.

What else can the Repubs do except be concilatory? The best they can hope for is that the Dems treat them better than they treated the Dems. Let's face it, the GOP leadership was vile. It's impossible for the climate to deteriorate any farther.
