Ok, then I guess you'll have to look it up.
Now you have me curious what you heard. So share when you find it.

I think that the movie was originally called something generic like the Mafia, but Puzo wanted it to be called the Godfather Not very interesting, eh?

Was that the documentary that had all of the Coppola relatives in it? And talked about the entire series of movies?

The thing I remember was that Coppola had so many of his relatives either working on or in the movies. And the infant in the Christening scene in Movie 1 grew up to be a teenager in Movie 4 or something like that. Must be nice to have relatives who provide work for the entire family for several decades.

I Know! Reunions of any kind are the pits. I hate them, too. I always try to find an excuse not to go.
But at least I don't have to go to Kentucky for them.

Relax. I'm not psychic. You told me about your Kentucky roots once. I believe I even made fun of you for them.
Hey, this is a switch. My memory today is better than yours.

No, I remember that, but I didn't know how you knew that I went to Kentucky though!
Don't get too comfortable. I remember all

Course everything is here forever, so we don't need to remember. But I can never remember which conversation has what.
Well, if your relatives are in Kentucky and you go to a reunion, it makes sense that you would go there rather than all of them coming to the Dome. Elmentary, Watson.

But not all my relatives are in Kentucky
I just read that Sherlock Holmes never actually said 'elementary my dear Watson'!

Well, he certainly should have!
There was a program on the Discovery Channel this week about the guy who was the model for Sherlock Holmes. It was pretty interesting. His name was Bell, and he was a professor of Doyle's when he was in medical school.
I like Sherlock Holmes. But the movies made Watson out to be a fool, where the books didn't. The Mystery series on PBS was the best, most faithful portrayal of the stories.

I can't believe you haven't read the Sherlock Holmes stories.
Who are your favorite writers? Inquiring librarians want to know.

Oooh... Hmm.
DNA - obviously
Napoleon Hill is brilliant, but a bit boring at times...
I dunno. I'll have to think about it! I'm sure you've already got your list sorted, though.

DNA isn't an acceptable answer. Everyone on this site automatically says that. I'll bet half of them haven't even read the Hitchhiker books. So, the question was phrased badly. My fault. Let's try this again.
Other than DNA, whom we all admire and love, which authors do you actually enjoy reading? Exclude those you think you should like and would look good on a list of favorite authors. I want to know who you really like.
I'm a librarian, dang it! These things are important to me. I know better than most that all those 'great' authors that fill favorites lists and are beloved by critics and professors sit on the shelves and never leave the building.
Napoleon Hill? Good grief. You sound like Frank.

Ok. Fair enough. Never mind. No one said the Godfather was a literary fellow. Too busy reading manuals for extortion rackets and confidence schemes.
