Hey great to hear from you. Just checked your space, and realised who you were, great to hear from you again.
I've not had a chance to check the Hotmail account yet, it only gets checked once every few weeks to be honest.
I've been pretty busy myself. I'll go in to more detail when I've read your e-mail.
All the best,
Terran (return of the old name
)

Hey,
I sent you the email aaages ago to the terraniavote account... dunno if you read it or not. How's it been going with you? Am in my second year of uni at the mo, just come home for christmas, and wanted to chat with some people I haven't for a while
Whatcha been doing in the interim?
Why you change back to the old name?
How's it going?
Terran Posted Dec 12, 2004
Well since I last spoke to you (I think), I've got my degree, slogged my guts off over the summer to earn some money, and have started another course. You could say I'm looking forward to Christmas, as I haven't had more than a couple of days to myself for about six months! Stressed? You bet!
I've got a hundred and one different things to do before the week is out, but if I survive that I've got some time to get myself organised again.
Ah and the name. Well to be honest I started wondering why I changed it in the first place - bout of insanity probably. I'm getting back to the stage where I'd love to spend a lot more time on here, but I've got no time to do so. I started writing another story for the post, but just as I was getting back in to the writing groove the severity of my course has hit me. Ah well no rest for the wicked - as they say.
Anyway, I rebooted the Terranic Army, and was (as with the story writing) getting back in the groove but it just kind of fell away with all the other hundred and one differet things I'd like to do.
I've been reading a lot of books lately though on the (slightly more controversial) origins of humanity, and about Time Travel and different things - so they are currently keeping my sanity levels acceptably low .
Anyway, anything interesting going on at the moment in your life, hootoo or otherwise?

By the way is there an acceptable amount of time before a h2g2 researcher can use the word hootoo? I've noticed myself bringing it up in conversations on here recently, and I have no idea why...

What letters do you have after your name now? What course are you doing?
Suppose I better replicate! OK, I last posted in June 2003, since then went to the States and had a great time, then went to uni and had a great time, went back to the States and had a harder summer, but a great one too... went back to uni for my second year, signed up for a fourth year etc. etc.
My student house is...interesting, a lot better than things in the beginning, its kinda stabilised a tad has its ups and downs, luckily on the way up now! Am at home now, working in the storeroom of Next, and actually having to work its knackering me out! Am working more hours in a day than have lectures a week!
I also changed my name because I almost want a new start i.e. I want to talk to new people but dont want to be subscribed to everything, and cant be bothered to unsubscribe myself! Plus quite like my new name

Well I've now got BSc(hons) after my name, though I've not really used it yet. I've started on a teaching course, as mad as I am. Bloody hard work it is too, but its all good experience.
I did like the old name, but there is a certain mystic/Indiana Jones thing going on with your new name. Anyway, all good names are shortened in time anyway, TLG .
Be careful you don't burn yourself out though by taking on too much. Anyway, you seem to be doing okay anyway.
Anyway, on to h2g2 matters. I've started up another version of the Terranic Army... again. Feel free to take a look A1085546

Very nice letters! I've just changed my course that [hopefully] when I complete it I will have an MGeog, which will be rather nice. How's the course going? I worked with a student last yr who was doing a PGCE, and I could see how mental it was!
Yes they are: T I like my new one mainly because it's true! I am a geographer in a permanent state of lostness [is that even a word!]
I'm avoiding burnout for the minute: am taking it easy [perhaps when I shouldn't: have two essays and an exam for January ] Have just been watching Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart, was v good, I wish I could see him doing Shakespeare...
Will definitely have a look at your page, but at the same time am enjoying taking it slow and not being that much of a presence to be honest! I.e. I have found the virtue of laziness
Have a great Christmas!
