The Force Is With Him.
Posted Feb 19, 2004
Recently someone asked here whether it’s possible that Dubya could actually be ‘re-elected’. On the face of it, it doesn’t seem possible that, in a sane world, such a corrupt government could be perpetuated at the ballot box. It simply seems impossible to believe that sane people could give such an obvious criminal the nod for a second term.
Unfortunately, however, faith in human nature isn’t always justified. As I’ve said before - people are stupid. People still persist in trying to defend the indefensible and support the invasion of Iraq. People still believe - in the face of evidence to the contrary - that WMDs exist in Iraq. People still believe - in the face of evidence to the contrary - that Iraq was an imminent threat to the west. People still believe - in the face of evidence to the contrary - that Dubya's presidency is legitimate.
And now even self professed non-supporters of Dubya are becomming more uptight and paranoid than ever.
Yes, Mr Bush, you can look forward to another term. You’ve got stupid on your side. It’s a very powerful force.
(BTW, in Dubya’s case, the term ‘re-elected’ is of course inappropriate as he was never elected in the first place.)

It never ceases to amaze me that, in all his fifty-something years, George Dubya Bush has never learned to pronounce the word 'nuclear'.
Wouldn't you think that one day one of his many minions and sycophants would take him aside and say "er... Mr President... that's not how you say that word." But no.
Bush's attempt to fool the world into believing he's a blissful idiot is losing credibility by the day. It's simply not possible for anyone to be that stupid and still be able to dress himself.

Out Of This World?

George W Bush has announced plans to reinvigorate the American space program and send a manned mission to Mars. Of course, subsequently it’ll be revealed that:
1) America will vehemently deny that they’re only going there for the oil.
2) Contracts for the rebuilding of Mars will only be issued to American firms with links to the Bush administration.
3) Lies will be submitted to the UN and the world about Mars’s weapons of mass destruction and Mars’s connections with alQaeda. Ultimately Tony Blair will be the only person in the world to continue to believe these lies, in the face of evidence to the contrary.
4) America will continue to insist that Mars was an imminent threat to the western world.
5) America will state that it’s only on Mars for as long as it takes for the Martians to achieve stable self government.
6) Bush only ever decided to go to Mars because he had run out of places to look for Osama binLaden.
