And 12 months later again, are things any better, or at least, any different?
Much has happened this year but not all of it good. My Mum (91), Godfather (90) and the dog (14) all passed away in the final 4 months of the year, a close friend is undergoing chemotherapy, and I have had sciatica for the past 9 weeks and it's wearing me down.
Apart from that, all is good, 4 lovely grandchildren, two lovely daughters (who have equally lovely and caring husbands), and, apart from the sciatica, I am in good health.

Pleased to hear that you are enjoying a happy family life.Having lost my last uncle this year I feel your grief at losing family members.

Just a bit doom and gloomy - don't worry. I've got a chest infection, a friend with renal cancer, just general life really, but sometimes it seems to catch you badly.
