Where are you?
Universal Granny Posted Feb 2, 2005
I missed it! I missed it! I came as fast as I could, when I realised, but I missed your birthday!
Two score year and ten and one, wasn't it?
Oh, disorganised one, will you ever forgive me
Hope it was good anyway
Have another on me
Take care UG

Thanks UG - Yeah - 5 - 0 plus one. Got lots of nice pressies from the kids - lots of little jokey things - which I enjoy - including a mug.
Its Blue and has a picture on it that looks a bit like Peter Sarsted and that says 'The Love Doctor is Here.'
I also got a bookmark that says 'Never - unless provoked - get your knob out in church.' Sound advice.

You still hanging in there, oh disorganised one?
Haven't been about much on here because of "stuff" - mainly the fact that they have almost doubled my workload and I don't even have time to draw breath some nights, let alone sit down and have a break and session with hootoo. Illegal, I know, but it prevents me from nodding off!! Oh! perhaps not!
It's no different tonight - I just felt rebellious!
I hope you and Mrs Disorganised and all the little (and bigger) Disorganiseds are well. Any chance of a status report!?
Take care UG

Hello, disorganised one, remember me? I haven't been on here for ages (many reasons) but I still remember my old friends - and I use the word "old" advisedly!!
How are you and your family? You are one of the first people I have looked up since logging on, and I have missed this site. Anything good/bad happened since I've been away?
Take care UG

Hi Lovely _
Glad you're OK - I thought maybe they'd cut off your access at work or now you'd got a new grandbaby at home you'd forgotten all your virtual ones.
What can I tell you - I should be happy, but I'm not - I'm fed up with having to fight for service everywhere I go, instead of getting what I pay for - I'm sick of work and the way that the turds keep floating to the top - had a lovely day with the lad yesterday - barbers and footy - I should be grateful really for all my blessings, maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy.
Hope you're OK, and having fun with your family.
Be good - and stay in touch - Or if you're naughty send details.

Well, in the first count you are right. They have cut off my access at work. They put me back on to days (if you can call starting at 0330 "days"!), and then announced throughout the whole of the organisation that we computer users were "being watched", and our activities logged pending disciplinary action (shades of "Big Brother" here I feel).
I retire in 15 months - it's not worth risking my job for an illicit half hour on an unapproved site. However, the good news is, that the computer I am now on is marginally faster than my old one, and so access is once again possible from home - where I am now sitting, inextricably attached to a radiator because it's *** freezing here at the moment.
Sorry you're feeling out of sorts, have a and a or even a and from me, and be grateful that you can't actually SEE me when I'm making free with my affections!! Believe me, the virtual is better than the reality here!
Take care UG

Good job they haven't perfected mind reading yet - I'd be up on a charge.
A lot of companies are clamping down on net usage, so I thought that might be the case.
3:30 AM ! Thats the middle of the night ! What do you do at that time ? Wake up the early birds so they catch the worms ? What time you go to bed for heavens sake ? That is a severely anti-social shift.Hope they pay you well.
I keep telling myself to stay cheerful - unfortunately I keep answering myself with - "Just let me stick one good one on him and I *WILL* be cheerful."
Actually I must stop this talking to myself as well. - I don't see why - well you wouldn't would you ? You never talk to anyone - thats just because they meet you first - don't get personal - look do you wan to take this onto the carpark and settle it once and for all - sounds good to me - OK!
Just gotta pop outside UG , see you later. And me.

Can't tell you what I do on this site.
Have I got your e-mail address? (riffles through mountain of paper on desk and momentarily suffocates on sheer volume)
Seems not - how about getting the other one of you to pop across the airwaves and read my mind, he can come back to you with the address then and I can let you into my little secret

I never did get back to you, did I, oh Disorganised One! Is this address still good?
I still haven't retired - too many debts still to pay, I'm afraid, from when Mr UG left me all that many years ago!
Still, I'm working on it, and maybe it is not in the too distant future. I was the big 6-0 last February, so I haven't worked too far over my time.
My main occupation at the moment is caring for my Mum, who had a fall a while ago, and broker her wrist. The plaster is off now, but it has knocked her confidence quite a bit, and she needs a bit of help getting about, and coping with shopping etc. She lives on her own in her own house, and is fiercely independent. She is a 35 minute drive away, through some busy towns, so getting to her is no picnic, and I usually have to go three or four times a week (my sister does the other days).
Then, of course, we have had the summer holidays and I have been involved in entertaining the littlies. I had them each individually over last week for sleepovers as I was off work for a week. They were great fun, each of them wanting to do something different. My eldest granddaughter wanted to sit on her bed with me and hear stories of "the old days"; my eldest grandson wanted a bath (because I have a corner bath and it fascinates him); my youngest grandson wanted to play the piano, because he has always seen it but never dared ask (he says); and my youngest granddaughter just wanted to upturn and explore EVERYTHING! But then, she is only two-and-a-half!
Busy, busy, busy!!
I read your other thread, and you have a brood to be proud of there! Hope your daughter's homecoming is great!
Take care

The address is still good UG.
Sounds like you've found your second childhood.
I'm trying to sort myself out a different job - I'm getting too old for these shifts - but I've been saying that for years.
Yeah it was lovely to have her back, and she's been telling us all about how disabled children are treated in the old Soviet Union, its not good, as you'd probably guess.
Sometimes life isn't as black as we paint it.
Take care.....
