darakat - Now with pockets! Started conversation May 16, 2004
I am afraid of making a journal post while in my current advanced state of intellect induced by to much sugar, coke and an extremely good pizza, not to mention a dam good walk and episode of Jonathan Creek. I generally get the feeling that maby one say someone will look back on all of these blogs and wonder what a fantastically average lot of people we were not. You know its terribly hard to make a comment on what the world might look like by outside observers. So I wont even try.
Anyway I better post about my life since this is a "blog" post.
Well I started the day being woke up by my dog who was barking at who knows what. Got up, got dresses, got more dressed (as if for -3*C temps) and took her for a walk. We went down hollway street up the fire-trail, down the fire-trail up the street and then fetched the newspaper (in adas mouth). I talked to stacy on MSN most of the morning then picked the persimmons (we have 20.3KGs by the way). Gave dog a wash after an uneventful bbqed lunch and then I sleep for 3 hours, gave ada another walk, ate a pizza and where back to here again.
Now why not post the activities for the rest of the week you wonder? Well it was the MOST exiting day I had this week (seriously) so I need no more evidence of my lack of a life. Oh and for those wondering about my h2g2 page being updated I decided to get rid of the dead links and shite like that. I will of course re-update with all the new cool stuff I have encountered over the last few month for anyone who uses it, (its mostly my bookmarks page for when I am at home) in a few days when I get sick and tired of typing names into google search.
There is of course a way of describing things in far to much detail I have discovered. If you are describing say a murder scheme, never miss out a thing. Describe everything you possibly can, even the cobwebs and the dust, but make sure the real evidence is completely insignificant if of course you are describing from a first person point of view. Now as long as that sentence was it was not as long as some of my longer sentences like some that just go on and on about nothing for such a long time people start wondering what adjective a sentence should end on and what the hell an adjective is anyway? I never learnt that at school you know, what a noun or an adjective was, the teachers where far to worried about my handwriting (which is still shite) or my spelling (also still shite) so it either didn't work or I was incapable of learning that sort of thing. So that is how one describes something in to much detail folk, because if you read that all the way through you now realize that it was an example and you were tricked into reading something you not only already knew but didn't care about either.

It sounds like a marvelous day. Almost lazy, but not quite. I even achieved recognition. *bows* Now I've got a pining for homemade pizza.

Yum. Actually, I've got a stronger desire for lasagna. Maybe I'll have time to make it over the weekend.

I intended on making it this weekend, but I will be attempting suicide by attempting to make myself study for my chemistry final.

Of course your study could be "The inclination of basilic salts to the itroduction of acidic substances - a study" or for those not capible of talking complete crap "the study of the effect of bi carb on vingar". However I think this may cuase a F. Pity you can't fail chemistry. When I did my study for the final exam I did for my minor in chemistry I went through the set text and did all the examples in it, the teacher used those as the baisis for the test. I don't think your teacher will do that, but you can only hope.

Pity I CAN fail chemistry. I have a low B in there as it is and her finals are...that bad. She handed us a stack of papers about two and a half feet tall and said 'have at it'. At least it's only over seven chapters instead of fourteen. Too bad it's mostly math which I suck at.

D, you are the only person I know who can do advanced calculus in his head, but still needs a calculator to work out 6x7

Heh yeah its weird, like when someone says hey Evan whats "3*4" I say I don't know but when they say hay Evan whats the volume of a curve of x^5 + x^4 from 1 to 5 rotated around the y axis and I say "about 7670 something" they go away work out its 7677.994 and sneer at me. Its not perfect but give me a few minutes and I would have known it to .9 level.

Indeed. I am the person who can actually multiply fairly large numbers in her head, but can't add three and three. And don't even start on handwriting; I am now utterly incapable of reading my own writing.

I have decent penmanship because it was beaten into me at a young age.
I can't add, subtract, multiply, or divide. Fractions and decimals are my friends, but I can't do any basic math. Give me weird, irrational, theoretical crap and it's mine. Basically, I'm useless.

Yes but do you know that the volume of a lamp post in hollaway street is 50? Liters?

Mr. Carrot Posted May 22, 2004
My handwriting is, as Stacy could probably confirm, quite close to being unreadable.
