Yes well its that time again folks. Thats right rant of the month time.
WARNING: THIS RANT WILL OFFEND YOU IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE IF YOU ARE THE FOLLOWING:
1. CONSIDER YOURSELF AN AMERICAN BUT LIVE IN THE US
2. LIKE GOEGE W BUSH OR JHON HOWARD
3. THINK THAT "FREEDOM JUSTICE AND THE 'AMERICAN WAY' IS EXACTLY WHAT GWB IS FIGHTING FOR.
4. ARE HUMAN.
One of the things that pisses me off more than anything else is arrogance. This is ironic since I am arrogant myself. I know dam well I am arrogant but it amazes me exactly who arrogant one can get. The biggest most arrogant thing I have seen recently is George W Bush. He is the most arrogant person I have seen, he beats Jhon Howard with hands behind his back, he even beats Margaret Thatcher and that really does take some doing I can tell you. And I will tell you why he has made me so pissed off at him. Its not his politics (SHOCK HORROR!) although I don't like those in any way at all its not why I hate him. The major reason is of course the phrase "Freedom, Justice and the American way." and how this guy uses it. What makes it worse is that he isn't even the only country in America there are 37 separate administrants from the US that are American, I could refuse to call USA America, its a part of America I agree yes, but it has a name that is not America. Its the United States of America. I would have far less of a problem with the statement if it was "Freedom, Justice and the United States Of American way" but it doesn't exactly roll of the tong as much. Even worse is that its not MY freedom, its HIS freedom. The freedom to allow the US to walk all over anyone it likes, do anything it likes and make as much of a f**k up of the world as it likes. Business, Economy, War, eveything. If you think GWB really does't subscribe to this then you need to look at the sight http://www.thenewamericancentury.com if you hadn't noticed lately there is a little thing called Natzi Germany and it wanted to do the same thing, it didn't pretend it was all in the name of "freedom" though it was fighting for an "arian race" but that doesn't make it any better.
You see GWB thinks he can say that an USAian must believe in these three things and the way he believes in them as well for you to be counted as an USAian. And what is more he implies no-one else can believe in these things from other countries in any way at all because there NOT Americans. And that really gets up my creek as it not only wrong and arrogant but more racist than most statements any American "president" has previously stated. However the thing that really annoys me is that Jhon Howard seems to completely agree with him, and that AGREE with him, its like saying "Australians sux and I should know I am one." Its like being punched directly in the head and having your entire being sucked out and then put in the trash for being apparently fundamentally wrong.
What is worse that all of this is that ITS NOT THE ORIGINAL STATEMENT. For those who know there history the statement was originally french and meant "freedom, justice and feternity" Nothing to do with anyones way. Bush has got away with slandering the most concrete democratic statement in the history of Liberalism. However you can't but hark at the guy's genius (yes I said genius). The change of the statement happened quite a while back when the US entered the second world war and the administration needed a way of getting the USian's to go to war. So they coined the old phrase "Freedom, Justice etc " and decided to use "and the American way" on the end. Personally I think its time that something was done about this statement. I think its time for a new statement one that GWB won't agree with but at least allows me to feel better. "Freedom, Justice, Truth and the Environment" thats my motto.

all i can say is, TRY LIVING HERE!! actually, it wasnt offensive in the least but it does suck to be ruled by a man who takes martial control of the country at the most opportune times. but hey, its all because of september 11th, doncha know? ben franklin said it all when he said that those willing to sacrifice freedom for safety dont deserve freedom at all. thats what were coming to, a 1984 brainwashed society.

GWB making 2004 just like 1984.... You won't get that joke its an apple one.

Tacysa Posted Mar 20, 2004
You've already explained the apple part. He's turning it into the book 1984, as well. The Patriot Act is the biggest and most publicized so far and no one knows what he's doing out of the public view.

it would be funny if the US equivalent of the High Court found the Patriot Act unconstitutional that would make my day.

Ah, but you see they won't. Throughout American history, the President has always been able to bypass the basic principles and laws that our country was founded during times of war or crisis. Lincoln did it, and that must mean Bush has the right to do it. Eventually, the Patriot Act and it's fellows will be struck down, but that's only if Bush doesn't take the country into dictatorship first. You say that's unlikely? Well, I don't because there are a million bazillion people out there stupid enough and adament in their support for the man. *breathebreathe*

Shall I welcome you all to America, once again? It's actually a lovely place...if you ignore the current administration. While I would live other places, I do appreciate swamps and we have admirable ones here. You can make a fabulous experimentation in divisions of class, race, and region, too.

Sorry I prefer Australia, its nice, brown, yellow, green and has large desserts. I put up with my own administration at least they have an oppersistion party that isn't to busy destroying itself to attack the government.

I'm not much on deserts really. We have them here, but I have very dry skin and shrivel up into a little husk. Not to mention it's hell on my sinuses.

Well I live one of the much more wetter parts. Savana grasslands and swamps galore round here, with eucalyptus covered mountains.

Hmm. Eucalyptus does smell lovely, doesn't it? We have two trees and they grow like weeds.
