I am not saying that you have to change the content of you page,it is just that every time you want to put a smily on your page in GuideML you have to change it from to this
<SMILEY TYPE="smily here"></SMILEY>
and as you have a lot of smilys on your page and not a lot of text, I just thought it would be better if you started from scrach

i thought there was something tho' but maybe it's an out-of-date info... when i tried it twas not working but when i tried guide ML twas the same anyway because i didn't write the code properly... hehe...

well at least that's one thing i don't have to worry about..

someone from the classic goo fan club is going to cut and past the club badge on my page from her computer...

another thing i don't have to worry about...

i can concentrate on my pages... hehe... lots of entries in here talk of things i like so after choosing the ones i prefer i can link them to my "all you want to know about..." pages [started a second one already...]

I think your page looks great.
it is just that some people make there page look as good as yours and then want to change to GuideML.
and then find out that they have to change all there smilys,
but if you like your page the way it is then dont change it, it is up to you

anyway the more of us put a message there the better, then newcomers will definitely not feel lonely...

i've started the list of LDers in here but realised that what i wanted to do was going to be rather complicated... hehe... so i went for a simpler version... which to start with might be the best way...

also i noticed other pages with possible LDers but they don't seem to be around at the mo'...

maybe in a few days time will leave a message on behalf of the "friends"... so if they pop in time to time they can come say hello too and hopefully get involved in h2g2... [even if it's just having a chat...]

err... manda have you noticed the picture in the main page... hehe... thought it was perfect with you being there to fix things [well giving advice and all but that goes under poetical license... lol]

what i really like is it's doing something... i DO like picture that do something me... hehe...

i thought the bottle of bubbly was very relevant to the "digibox" page... hehe... i already plugged the "friends" site in one of my pages [can't touch my main page at the mo'... aaaaaargh....] pointing out that if they go there they will find a solution saving a lot of unplugging...
