Good Morning (or should that be 'Bon Matin'?)

Was messaged by Poison Oak last night who was wondering what had been happening to the digibox users! Gave him/her a brief outline of what had happened and said that most of you were back online now smiley - biggrin

Said they would get up early and catch up with you and a couple of others they used to talk to!

By the way I'm Helen smiley - dragon from Wales and work night shifts so will be off home soon to get some sleep smiley - sleepy

Hiya Loup,
I'm just doing my daughters other half's page for him smiley - laugh hence the son in law bit but poison oak is me Pally smiley - laugh Kow got quite a shock too as I'm also on vampire freaks now as well.
I have had to start a new page as I lost the old paladins one when I lost the digibox mainly because I made the mistake of clicking the "always remember me button".
Glad to see it started a new convo thread smiley - laugh
I will be around for some time but will add a link on poison oaks page to this thread asap.
Have fun

Hi Pally...smiley - smiley

Yeah, I got confused a bit while lurking last night and reading the posting from your son in law's account...smiley - headhurts But it kind of became clear after a little while [relatively speaking of course]...smiley - disco

Problems with the PC is something I definitely can relate to...smiley - wahsmiley - wahsmiley - wah Mine has been playing up straight from day one... Some of the problems have been fixed eventually but the lack of memory is not helping when trying to download something...

The new email addy is better for me as with the old one it means having to reply with the remote control [the TW keyboard is not working anymore...smiley - wah] which I find rather off putting [and that's if I can put my hands on it as it usually disappears at the most inconvenient times smiley - steam]...

Haven't checked my email's inbox yet but on my way to do so soon[ish]...smiley - smiley

Talk soon...smiley - surfer

Yeah I sure have fun deleting all these spam emails...smiley - wah
What's started to worry me a bit is that I have received some with attachments containing a virus quite on a regular basis now...

As they have addies which could have to do with places I go/use or have interests in [Telewest/Activemail/Geocities/Lycos/etc] I can't ignore them like the spam ones...

One of them even said : "To read immediately" Which, of course, I would not do before scanning the attachment first anyway...smiley - biggrin

I tend to send the email back to the senders telling them that their attachments contain a virus...
Never got a reply...

And some of the addresses also happened to be fake...smiley - yikes

The moral of this story is definitely: "Never open an attachment without scanning it first, even [and especially] if it sounds urgent"...smiley - winkeye

So, yeah... Fun it is...smiley - whistle

Oh, by the way: What's this "vampire freaks" site?!...smiley - biggrin

Well vampire freaks is having a few probs at the mo as they have just changed their server so login is a bit naff at the mo but once it is straighted out it is a site for goths they are mainly from the US and they tend to be quite young.I'm looking round for an alternative site or I might just start one if I can't find one I like.I've turned abit smiley - vampire freakish smiley - laugh but its a laugh.I tend not to open attachments no matter what or who they are from smiley - laugh They are not getting me smiley - rofl
Although the virus software that is on this thing is quite good so I've been told you can't be too careful plus romani always sends warning if she hears about any new virus's out there.
Have fun
