I still have to sort out a few things regarding the projects etc... And of course updating my space accordingly... So i'm going to be around for a little while longer... But i will refrain from posting in certain areas of h2g2 as there are too many comments there that hurt me too much...

I want to try to remember the good memories from this site... _Not_ the bad ones...

I will also post a journal entry before leaving...


I'm also waiting for a reply about something... Just in case i misunderstood the situation... So, still there for a little while...


I still don't know if i will stay away from this site for ever or just for a while... I have too much on my mind right now to think straight... Some issues i need to look into... And perhaps the main question that needs answering: is h2g2 the site i thought it was after all?!...

News update.... Change of plan: I will take some little breaks time to time and while on here will concentrate on Aceing newbies and updating the projects etc... That should be enough to keep me away from certain heated discussions...

[And the little breaks could be used for updating _that_ Buffy page of mine somewhere on the web...]

Then, i will see how things are going from there...

[And there might be some good news regarding the digibox users before i make a final decision anyway... who knows...]

A lot of friends are hoping for some "light at the end of the tunnel"

We (Rebs and I) have a new pc so access is not a problem, although you must know that he is like you annoyed about all this

We have had some great times on here but unfortunately it is not as much fun lately

but if there is some ray of hope surely it is better to keep an eye on things

missing all my freinds on digis but still ever hopeful

ive only just found this thread and have missed out what has happened
but i underestand that you loups have had enough(understandibly so) and are giving up. correct me if im wrong.

i want to add my bit to this.

loups, you are the mainstay behind the integration of us LDers into h2g2.
you have worked damned hard to get us accepted and set up things for us to fit into this site.
you have worked wonders at keeping a broken community together.
the folders arms and the tea shoppe to name a couple.
there are many many more that i havent mentioned.

we all know that if we have a problem then all we have to do is come running to you and you usually manage to help us sort it out.

i know that you have had help along the way and by not mentioning names i dont want them to feel left out.

but we all THANK YOU.

please think carefully before doing anything drastic.

I am not irreplaceable though and there are _many_ others on here who have been [and/or are] doing great things for the cause... But, hey i'm not going to ignore any compliments...

I sure lost it for a while... Reading some of the things said about the whole affair was starting to run me down and there was something that happened not long before me thinking of leaving which had to be the last straw in a way... I have a feeling that the Mods must have got that message as well after my last reply to their standard [but so irritating] emails regarding some complaints i've made...

These are trying days for many of us and obviously we all react differently to them... But losing my cool in some threads was not the best way for me to react [even so i restrained myself a lot] as it could have been used against the Aces Group... And i had reached the point where i felt i would explode on every thread where the digibox issue was "discussed"... Having said that, i'm not going to give up challenging some of the lies used by certain people to try to attract the support of other Researchers though... I might be a bit less err argumentative while doing it, that's all...

Obviously, _any_ good news concerning the digibox access will help as well...
