Hi AWOL I have never yiksed anyone and I have never been on an ego trip (I suffer from very low esteem). I have not been aceing (welcoming people) to the site for along time because of committments, ill health and lack of confidence.

about that... i haven't yikesed the first post [and i don't have a clue what's in the other one...] and from what i read in post #1 there was nothing offensive... it might be because it was posted by you through a new account etc but i won't go into that either i agree with the yikesing decision or not...

All i will say is that i acknowledge what you said in post #1... and that you've always been decent when talking to me in the past... so i haven't got any problem with you...

I do wish there was a way to solve this problem in an amicable way... but, at the same time posting under new accounts don't help the matter i suppose...

I'm not judging, it is your decision and i can see that you would like the situation to change which could explain why you're doing it..

Anyway, i posted here to show that i was not ignoring you...

Still do say rules are there to be broken and as an Ex LDer will try to get away with afew things from time t time..

I can't condone the posting through new accounts thing but it's not something personal... as i explained somewhere else it's because some nasty people could see it as a way to carry on their nasty activities without having to worry about being banned etc...

The sense of humour thing is unfortunately very subjective... i'm sure in my time i have taken wrongly things that weren't meant as i thought... it depends on circumstances, past experiences etc...

I replied a little while ago to a post where the poster thought that i was making fun of her because of an X-Files reference... Even so i did say in a following post that no offense was intended... i explained the reference anyway... hopefully the misunderstanding will be cleared soon... Anyway, my point is that yes, sense of humour can be very subjective unfortunately...

Glad that the yikesing didn't bother you.. as i said, it could have been because of the posting under a new account... but, i would have preferred that whoever yikesed it had waited for me to reply _first_ as it was _not_ an offensive post...

Then again, i suppose i can't have it both ways...
