yep.. keeping myself busy with some updating [if the darn servers let me..]... plus unlimited posting in all its glory...

trying to update my convo message at the mo' [even took some PC access time for that] but the servers keep giving me an unavailable page... it's not like if i could go back to it later on... oh well, if i can't do it today it will have to wait then...

yes loup i would be very happy to help you in any capacity i can. was this something to do with the digibox? if so iv still kept notes somewhere on what all the sites do n what you can get out of them. havent done anything for yoome2 as i believe it doesnt have a use!! no seriously ill email you so you can let me know what it is you want.
i can come on here daily now.
actually i do need some advice i will put it in the advice centre for LDer's. its about threads im subscribed to.

the advice corner is the right place indeed... i saw your question on my way back from the quiz and noticed that SEF had already answered... she is one of the PC users who made a point to understand as much as possible about the digibox..
and she likes solving problems which can be very handy in certain occasions... hehe..

i was most impressed in a quick reply from SEF. i practically didnt have time to blink n got a reply! i think thats great that pc users are doing as much as possible to understand the digibox. looking on the front page everyday i see the FoLDers Arms always higher than 'Ask H2G2' so the people who use the digibox must be very proud indeed
i think ill have to go through all the sites again loup as it was some time ago since i wen through n i expect there will be new sites up n running since then n sites which are now 'dead'. are you in any rush for the info? if so i can look tomorro when im on my own for an hour or two n add/delete info as necessary.
i might find alot of info that i hadnt included. to be honest im a bit rusty with interactive now as iv not really used it in sometime i expect there has been alot of new changes. well there certainly was when i came on here! pubs, tea shops, advice centre the list is endless loup!

yep... and another project on the LDers Space to be started soon...

we are now listed [or at list the Plain skin entry and the Advice Corner] in one of the most posted pages to newbies by ACEs... and more ACES are also giving out some of our links to newly arrived ex-LDers... plus yes, we do have quite a lot of PC users supporting us and helping when they can... some even made a special page [when their space is unaccessible for digiboxes] so that we can visit them... and they are at least 3 italics who have shown publicly interest and support toward us...

that's why the name is incorporating H2G2 now [or will be once all the revamping is done]... we are definitely part of the whole H2G2 community and it's not just a one sided feeling...

new ex-LDers on here don't always realise what has been achieved since the friends of LD has been started... i suppose an history of the LDers Space might be long overdue.. with almost one year of service that would be the perfect timing... perhaps also an opportunity to blow our own trumpet...




i'm not too much in a hurry for the info... i need to concentrate on a few things first so it's for me to wait a little... no problem...

sorry its taken me such a while to reply. what with having ask h2g2 subscribed it takes me a while ot find my convs. kow has kindly given me a link that will take me onto older conversations in ask h2g2 so thats a great help. he got it off SEF. are you aware of this link loup? if not maybe asking SEF or kow for it. im not sure how it works but all im glad it does!

Iv been through a number of sites loup over the past week but i still have maybe another weeks work to make something presentable for you.

did you go to the meet on saturday?
i woudlnt go to things liek that as im a very shy person. i suffer from social phobia which basically means if im with more than 2 people i clam up n cant speak a word. im even like that with my own family.
im slowly but surely getting over it with my psychologists help.
im now able to go out on my own n even on public transport so im getting better now!
