hi marc... no need to thanks me really... it's a pleasure to see the Lders space being use to its full potential... and with manda being around as well it makes any need to update or add something to the shop become hassle free...
i still think that once we've got more recipes it will be a good idea to make a collective entry with it [which i think is kinda hinted anyway with the title of the thread...]...
but let's wait for a few more first [i got a few myself that i will post soon...]...
i think i've got an idea of what you want to do next... had a lurk earlier but i will have a better look in a mo'...
i have at least one more project on the list but as long as i can have enough PC access time available in one day nothing is impossible as then it's quicker with a bit of cutting and pasting...
talk soon....
loup
to have a better look at thread...

If the cost of Pc access time is expensive i would be more than happy to contribute toward it if you could let me know how much it cost for the time it takes to set up and get `G Cleff Cafe` set up and running..then i can move onto next project..hahhahaha..have a look see what you think if needs be i start a new thread with all the ideas on so we can bounce the ideas of each other..Thank thanks..and another 998 times thanks..The

i have a picture of a lrge hall if you watch the brit awards and things like that you will know what i mean, tables and chairs, then a dance floor and a stage..the stage will be used for disco one night, kareoke another night, theatre group another night live guest groups on other nights..then we could have theme nights where patrons come dressed in costumes for things like..rocky horror, grease, sound of music etc.. behind the stage would be a recording studio for new or visiting groups to record cd and sell in entrance lobby,..around the side of the main hall there would be rooms such as the kitchen for meal preperation..a seperate bar and lounge, a drama theatre, a room where people who write songs could meet with people who write music...also art and craft rooms..Can you see the picture.???..it will be an enormouse building..you think you could do it??? so from the main hall you would have a lot of `click here for this room`or `click here for other room` all linked to the main hall..>>

OOOOOOps nearly forgot there would also be a weekly pop quiz run by myself and INTERN2 so we would need a space to put the questions on and somewhere that people could post thier answers but not have there answers seen by anyone else apart from me and intern, then at the end of the week we could display the correct answers and a list of how well people did..So you see a really big project..with a lot of things going on..

hi honey..
it has been suggested that we have a grand opening of the tea shop, on the 23rd of april. which is my birthday., i dont mind the date, but i would prefer some anonimity and say its a St Georges day opening..
is everything done, on the technical side?, or are we just playing at being silly wotsits?.
i was thinking of doing a journal entry and telling people it is now open and a list of the staff and their duties.. is that possible?.
what do you think?.

Hi again Loup we was discusing a celeb to attend the opening of the tea shoppe and it was suggested that we find out who is the longest serving member of h2g2 (or even the founder) and ask him/her to be our celeb..have you any idea who that person may be????

hi marc...
for not replying to your previous post... got an idea about what could be the problem but will have to cut and paste [and find first] the explanations about it tomorrow [today
]
the founder of the site is Douglas N Adams but unfortunately he died a few years ago..
creechy has left a message on jim lynn's space as he seems to be the earliest researcher on h2g2 still around...
he is now one of the italics [paid staff] and is actually the one who designs the software for the site... it's thanks to him that we've got the plain skin which was released still in its prototype stage as a favour to us [digibox users]...
will get you more details asap...
talk soon..
