Mom's up at a gig in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (the U.P.) and won't be coming back until late Poetsday evening. At least that's what my sister tells me. I got it to at least come up as preview, however there is no marquee in the picture. Must one put in both the entries you showed, right AND left scrolling marquees?

Speaking strictly as one resigned to ghastly white skin, on your tan. I used to live in Arizona, and was always rather superior in my lovely brownness. Ah, how the mighty have fallen.Got the notes working. Only because a friend of my daughter cheated and let me copy and paste. I think though, what I was doing wrong was not putting some of the stuff in lowercase letters (specifically the musicalnotes. Somehow it stuck in my evershrinking mind that it was ALL to be done in uppercase. I shall try to do a banner next I think. I am determined to figure it out. Besides my computer should be upgraded by the weekend and I can switch to Brunel.

Brunel is a better skin in terms of features but I'm not sure about the colours. I'm putting up with it at the moment though Goo might be on the cards again

Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Seems some young man made off with my computer to upgrade it and has not gotten back..as yet. Hope springs eternal. I am using the public library's computer again, so I haven't time for much but cking my email. But I shall return! Thanks for all your help.

Lafayette, I have returned! My computer is all grown up and I am able to use Brunel, and zip about the web with the best of them (or their servants). Fairly confident your tan has faded just a bit, but that your new employment is working out as you had hoped. I intend to begin reconstruction on my space immediately, so steel yourself for more crazed, confused (confusing?) questions.

It was 14 degrees yesterday morning and 41 today. Go figure.
My sad story continues. First I fried a video card and had to take the beast into a guy to tell me it was more money than I cared to spend to replace it at the moment, but he had to reload windows. Then I returned home with it good as new and proceeded to try to load a psc. It froze on me at "insert in port" , and it was all down hill from there. It made me reload windows 98 from it's memory, and than proceeded to act like it didn't get everything it needed. I have decided to name it "Hal". And if it begins to turn the house lights on and off, I'm pouring a coke down it's modem!

But enuf about my problems.Thanks for letting me vent.
