Were you in the west end of Glasgow? I was gonna suggest the square with all the lights in it was George's Square but i get a feeling you weren't in the centre of town.

Im pretty sure it was the center of town,
But then again i wouldnt really know, it looked like the center of the town though.

Where would you normally go out in Glasgow, the choice yous have is amazing! We've got very little to choose from over here, and even at that most of them have that whole cheesy thing going on.

They have that rocky, grungy thing going on
it works well for them

ah i see... yep i knew they're Irish. Hmmmm grunge? Well im not a huge grunge fan but i reckon it'll be fun all the same. No point in listening to one type of music all the time anyway. I've just finished listening to Christina Aguilera, No Doubt and Muse so i like an eclectic mix anywayz!smiley - smiley

Trivia: one of Therapy once snogged the missing Manic Street Preacher, Richey Edwards.

yep im always looking forward to the weekend!lol... going somewhere nice? Ooooh Primal Scream on the telly! Gtg!smiley - smiley

This is rather random but i thought i'd tell you that the Irish accent is one of my favourite accents(if not my absolute favourite).smiley - smiley I told you it was random!smiley - smileyhehe

Iv heard people say that before, strange really that one, but then again im from N. Ireland so i dont think thats counts. When i was in Glasgow I found it hard to understand some people for a day or two til I got the jest of it. Then again these where people with very thick accents.

Iv yet to experience the smoking ban, but I believe that its a good thing. Im an x smoker but I still smoke if you know what i mean smiley - winkeye

Im heading down some time to see James Brown, so I'll know all about it then.

hi!smiley - smiley

why is the northern Ireland accent very different? There was a guy in the bank yesterday when i was in and he was Irish, i thought 'I could listen to his accent all day long!'smiley - smiley
Yep Glaswegians do have a weird accent i suppose... okay i just slagged myself off.lol... nah it's just all the little colloqualisms that are difficult at first. I met A agroup of Irish guys on the train a while ago and one of them said he like my jacket but i didn't know what he was saying because his word for 'cool' was somethng i'd ever heard of before... i wish i could remember it now.

yeah i do actually know what you mean!smiley - smiley

aaaah cool... i don't really want it to be introduced in Scotland. All the bars will be empty!smiley - sadface

Yeah it is different, though most people from other countries cant tell the difference. we sound like a cross of scotish and Irish, think of james Nesbitt (urghhhh)

did he say it was deadly by any chance?

Take it your a smoker then?

yes, its a terrible habit.

It was only after I stopped smoking fegs that I realised how much i stank of them. I used to slip off in work for a wee smoke and then slide back into the office thinking "They'll never know" now I can smell anybody hows been in the smoke room a mile off. It must have been so obvious
