Call Me Hatty
Life History
Born in Halifax 1964 - spent my early years striving to be original and avante garde but my limited imagination means I've ended up just settling for being enthusiastic and reasonably happy, instead. (It's a knack). Grammar school, RAF and Local Government have instilled in me a love of sky blue shirts and free internet access.
Preferences
I like being out of doors but if I have to be indoors then please let it be with a good book. I prefer planning to implementing, fiction to fact, fairylights and fireworks to neon and my love of a party - with dancing, and everything! - is well-known. I like people with plenty to say as I have a fear of silence and fill it with inane prattle if no-one else is talking...
Hobbies - past, present and intended
Perfecting hangover cures, hashing and running in general, rugby union, sailing, climbing trees, science fantasy BUT NOT TERRY BROOKS, Cocteau Twins, Italian food, urban design, hatching freckles, sweeties, shopping, unsuitable footwear, painting and decorating, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall- in my dreams - gossip, salsa rhythms and lying on a beach in Cyprus (soon, my precious, soon!!!)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
