hi
i'm a mum of (sometimes) nice wee baby girl. I now work part time in the civil service , for my sins. I live with ( no ring on the finger yet) the only straight, sober, sensible scaffolder in the universe. his hatred of the consumer society is all that stands between me and a bigger house. i am working on this.
I work with the general public which i feel has changed me from a sweet,niave dogooder into a suspicious, cynical....very helpful person (once i've sussed oot yer no' at "it"). on the whole i enjoy it. I'm looking for promotion but fear this eludes me due to the few hours i work and my refusal to kiss ring. I'm basically trying to have the best of both worlds and by gum i will!
we live in edinburgh, scotland. a truly beautiful city, full of rich people, it seems. oh and about a zillion tourists. no problem with that really.
i am now socially dormant( or thats how it feels), how times have changed. consuming vast amounts of 'bevvy' friday, saturday & sunday and dancing 'till 4am seem like a thousand years ago. now i'm more than happy with a night out once a month and get a thrill from cheap drink!!! its tragic.
i loathe daytime tv, its aimed at women obviously and i'm quite insulted by it. full of adverts about ridding yourself of all that debt by taking out a humungous loan with enough left over to buy a spanish villa!!!!! ...don't get me started! lovejoy and bargain hunter on the other hand are a different story.......
