I see you're subbing my entry on Mozart's Requiem. (A1119430)

I discovered I made an error in the entry:

"It begins with a crescendo of minor chords, followed by the choruses singing the Latin phrase mentioned above." (last paragraph)

should be:

"It begins with a haunting melody followed by a dramatic crescendo of minor chords."

or something like that.

If you could change that it would be cool - I don't want to be lynched by hoardes of Mozart's Requiem fans if they find the error!

When I saw the subject line, I thought that this was a journal posting from Master B, and that he'd gone to find mozilla over at mozilla.org and was now ranting about it!

Anyhow, back in the _normal_ world, yes, I am subbing your Mozart thing, it having caused me some consternation yesterday when I was working on the code and kept getting this error I didn't understand, so ran off to ask the other subs, who promptly told me exactly how I was being and to stop bothering them, the more grown up ones...of course the latter didn't _actually_ happen.

No problem adding something or fixing something in the entry, I'm actually almost finished with it, and when I do, I'll let you know so you can have a look. Biggest change is the listing of all the parts, I'm trying to make it look really good, I mean smashingly good. Or summat.

I'll post back here once I'm done...

Nup, I fear 'tis not a journal entry about Mozilla. Sorry.

I had a weird error when I was working on the code as well. Or rather, it was a simple error, caused by instead of , but I didn't get the usual error message that comes with that. Was that your error, or was it weirder? Anyway, hope it's okay now.

I didn't like the big list of parts either, but I couldn't think of a better way to display it other than a table, and I didn't like that much either. Hope you can think of an excellent solution (or at least better than it is now!).

So...just post again when you've finished...

Ok, I've updated your Entry with the subbed version. Give it a good look, tell me if I missed anything, and if that sentence you wanted me to change is factual, and then report back to me!

Anyhow, not that I'm ordering you (much) around, let me know if you approve and I'll send it back to the italics...

That dodgy sentence is now correct, but it sounds a bit weird. "It begins with a haunting melody followed by a dramatic crescendo of minor chords and then the choruses sing the Latin phrase mentioned above." possibly it should become two sentences.

I like the way you've set out the parts of the Requiem as well.

I think it's fine at the moment.

By the way, I meant to congratulate you on adding the two dotty omlaut () thingo to Sussmayr. Technically I suppose should have one of those German double-s that looks like a B thingies as well, although I'm not sure.
