What are GCSE's?
Skenvoy's Guestbook
TBC Posted Apr 13, 2003
GCSE's are an English national exam that pupils in year 11 have to take. After taking them I can either leave school or go into 6th form and get AS levels and A2 levels... so thats 3 years of exams in a row!!!

Yeah... still there are less subjects: I have 10 this year (if all sciences are seperate subjects and English and English Lit count as two seperate subjets), 4 next year and 3 subjects the year after... then again the exams are harder so its not any easier!

All three Sciences, Drama, Geography as well as the basics. I finish on the 20th, it seems years away.
How did you find English (and Chemistry if you take it)?

At out school you have to take English, MAths, a foreign language and all sciences!
I found both exams easy today... then again there was v. little on the chemistry silibus when you look at it, and knowing me I'll probably think I've done well and fail!!! lol actually probably not gonna happen!

French is my worst subject as well - probably because my class did no work for the last two years (top set for French and the majority of the class mucked about all lesson, the teacher couldn't keep control so we did v. little during those two years)...
Anyway I am doing A levels yeah, I'm going to do Biology, Maths Stats, Geography and History. I'm taking bio and maths as I want to do psychology at Uni and Geo and History are just back ups, I'm considering changing either Geo or History for Chemistry but I doubt I will...
What about you?

Good luck with maths tommorow...
