Last night's coup...
Secretly Not Here Any More Started conversation Dec 4, 2003
Right, I can see where AD and reef are coming from about me getting the pick of the story lines but I don't agree with what they did.
If you think I should tone it down and play a smaller part, then say so and I'll do it but I just want to make something clear.
1) I'm not changing the maverick style. AD's well off the mark, I stick to the rules and have only killed 3 extras in defence. He just seems pissed off that I won't play by his rules. I can't track him but he can track me. I can't grass him to CorSec, he can put a bounty on my head. And I escaped from the containment because it's against free will, he could feasibly keep me in a single convo indefinately and I wouldn't be able to do anything.
2) He's bang out with his "I can over-ride free will so long as reef and anthea agree with me" suggestion. I'd advise against changing anything.
3) I'll do what I'm told. No rules change suggestions, no secret coups, no ingnorance of free will/continuity.
Thanks for the time.

You don't have a big part, but an equal one. You just happen to on when I am.
"Oh look story progression there... and wine drinking there. I'll get on with the story while they get around to something.
You'll actually notice I treat you all equally but they see things differently.
I'm still in control if I give up some control.
The place loses something if it becomes:
'Annat swung a saber at Ma'rol.
.
Does Ma'rol: a/ dodge b/ duck c/ revereverse or d/ all but leave without a scratch.
.
VOTE NOW!'

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I mean I've had a few good duels with Kitty and Keezo, and with Kitty free will was a big factor. I just can't believe reef was part of it, I know what Mark's like and this is just him thinking he's missing out but I didn't think she'd see it like that.

Yeah, which I suppose is a bit naff with nobody else being in on their plans. I talk to Kitty online, but very rarely about this. I've sent reef a message offering her the Keezo plot, and apologised but I don't think I'll be offering one to AD....

She was/is part of it! Both as Cobal and Fett!
Not to mention, ah yes, giving AD the defence position he wanted!

We talk on messenger, its faster and means that we can make decisions easier.
Reef offered to whack Annat. I said no because i didnt want her getting kicked out, even though she did try with the rifle.
The point of last night was simple. We want fair play. Look at annats response to the first bullet. You catch it in mid air, laugh at me, then continue doing what your doing. Is this a natural thing for jedi to do? whats the point in me, reef, or anybody else being told to do something if annat's going to do it before us. He never went throught the training like we all did, we spent time and effort learning how to do things the way that we were told to by HPB.

And HPB and I talk on here, unfortunately we seem unable to do this privately.

Right, I've resigned from the academy. The way I play winds AD up, and then he turns into an arsehole so I guess that me quitting will solve a lot of problems.
May the Force be with you.
(and good luck when he finds something else to bitch about, seeing as he's already forced me and Ancha out.)

I see. So you're leaving because you're intimidated by AD.
Last night's coup...
Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Dec 4, 2003
Nah, I'm leaving because I'm not enjoying it anymore and because I can't afford to spend this much time on it when I have exams really soon.
Last night's coup...
[...] Posted Dec 4, 2003
And up to how long have you not been enjoying it? Since, what? 18 hours ago.

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Dec 4, 2003
Yep. Got told I need to buckle down in College today though.

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Dec 4, 2003
Yeah, AD's already given me permission. And Reef don't like my style, I don't wanna change, so it's simpler for you.

When she doesn't like your style it's obvious that it is part of the continuity-breaking.
Yes very simple for me, rip out half the number that actually bother doing anything and don't blame the system if things on directed to them 100%. Hopefully kitty will be back.

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Dec 4, 2003
Maybe I come back, just a thing tho, did I at any point break continuity in the past 36 hours?

Apart from doing a Steve McQueen in containment?
We-ell there is the fact you sensed the amazing organic sniper bullets which have Force in them... and the question of how you found Gr'jar.

Meh, I can't leave you to them two alone....
