It always pops in my head whenever I see the heading to your page.
Now, what I wanted to ask is do you still have the web address for the Elvish and Dwarfish names?
I thought I'd offer it to new researcher without their own cool name...part of my on going work as Guardian Angel...which reminds me of Red Dwarf...I'll have to go and see what's going on there.
You find the coolest places!

Yes, that pops into my head too, though it wasn't intentional.
Yes I still have that address, here it is: http://www.barrowdowns.com/middleearthname.asp
Sorry it's taken me a while to reply, haven't been online in a few days.

I noticed you were missing and created havoc in your absence. I didn't get to ask you if you'd like to by a crystaline elf, so I just went ahead and did it.
I had a few days up the mountains that were pretty slow, Saturday, I only packed and cleaned and played in the net, so I was feeling pretty lonely here for a while.
Thanks for address, I'll pass it on to future researchers.<smiley)
News on your (my) parcel. It didn't arrive by Friday, five days! Man, mountain mail is slow. Luckily, the houses owner works not too far from Canley Heights and so will drop it by when it turns up. At the very most, I'd have made a trip to the mountains to claim it. Let's not do that again though.

Yes, I noticed you'd been snooping around my conversations in my absence.
Sorry the parcel didn't turn up on time. Next time will just send it to your house.

But you have such interesting conversations. I guess that comes from all that Lurking. I don't lurk, I look at my conversations and what's new and that's it. You go hunting and find gems.
I'm hoping to have the parcel by Thursday, though I guess I may even get it today. You don't appologise, you sent it in heaps of time, five day for pity sake! Maybe we're too use to it good, two days is the most we usually wait isn't it.

Whoops, nearly logged off without seeing this.
I haven't been doing a lot of hunting lately. Just been visiting my conversations and that's it. I've been spending my time reading novels. I just read 'Interface' by Neal Stephenson, which was brilliant!! It's kind of a political thriller with a little sf thrown in. I'm not normally into political novels, but this one held my attention. I might have mentioned before that Stephenson writes in such a way that you just keep reading. He tends to write likeable characters too, which helps. It's also satirical, which I like. There's one hilarious scene involving a politician having a hart attack, voracious reporters and messy food. Made me laugh out loud, and want to go back and read it later.
Yesterday I read 'Death Du Jour' by Kathy Reichs. Not quite finished it yet, was about to do that when I noticed your posting. It's not bad. Made all the more interesting with the fact that Kathy Reichs is herself a forensic anthropologist.
I hope to go back to finding gems soon. (thanks for the compliment by the way) Just want to give myself a rest from being online too much. Was starting to dream in goo.
