I haven't been around here for a while, I've missed you all so! I was getting all twichy yesterday. Anyway, hope you all had good Christmas' and stuff. s for all, my wonderful people!

I think most of us did!

*doth proffer a towards VIP*

*accepts the gratefully*

*grins and decides that the thread needs to be turned into a bar*

*surreptitiously clears out sofas and replaces with seedy tables, a long bar with a dirty mirror behind it and every spirit known to man, replaces one wall with an alcove where a spanish band, the leader of which has a very dubious moustache, and dims the lighting*

*brushes hands together and grins*

*gets a tequila from the bar and sits in a corner*

..

*finds the bottle of Laphroig, takes a glass of water and joins njan*

*whispers something conspiratorially into VIP's ear, s, and pinches a bottle of tequila, some vodka, and some vermouth from behind the bar. As an afterthought, gets some absinthe, and adds it to the pile on the table*

What d'you think of Laphroig? I've always been partial to johnnie walker, myself..

I hae to say I love it. Possibly partly becasue of the situation I was introduced to it- in the Proms queue with guy I got on very well with. I don't know Johnnie Walker at all- my knowledge of whisky is less than it should be. Though it doesn't help that generally you can only get JD and Southern Comfort behind a bar. Glenfiddich if you're *really* lucky. Not as good as Laphroig, but eminently drinkable.

*sniffs the absinthe, just to see, and immediately wishes she hadn't*

*Grabs a bottle of vodka and some cans of red bull*

Some bloke was pouring overproof rum into my mouth at the party last night, damn that s**ts strong...

.. fair enough. I rather like Johnnie Walker, it has to be said. Something to do with the fact that all of the bottles I have are duty free, and therefore very alcoholic and very nice.

oh, absinthe is good stuff!.. as is overproof rum.
