How is it that you can put more in your postings than me?I got this through my sister via email & she got it via email through a friend who was connected to the internet.Will you please help me how can I extend the amount that I can put in it?

no, but i will try & remember to get one tomorrow, i hope i do not have to wait too long to get it.

re: keyboard... they will say that it takes up to 4 weeks [to cover their back] but one week and half seems to be the norm..

a keyboard makes a lot of difference...

by the way if you get repeatitive blue "flashes"... and that even so you press ok they keep coming back... well try pressing the blue key [or the red one if you want...] that seems to tame the machine... you will still have to use 360 tho' but at least you will be able to access the conversations....

hopefully that advice might help samarkand too...

You can only type upto 200 characters using the on-screen keyboard( including spaces), however using the keyboard, you can be like loup and bore us all to death

It seems us TeleWesters are about to be blessed with another upgrade

Got a letter this morning, it seems a couple of people complained about the last being useless, so the new upgrade will fix everything, it's due between 23rd September and 18th October, no news on the firewall front yet tho

wow... another upgrade... eh?!...

interesting.... hopefully that will help a bit with our surfing in here...

I wish I had the same faith in TeleWest as you have

All the upgrades have just seemed to make it worse

kow: i got my digibox checked up just before the last upgrade... maybe that's why it's not too bad for me...

kow: yep a regular check-up does help... they were fed up with me complaining as i was getting too many frozen screens plus sometimes couldn't even access interactive... they came and kinda regulated something at the back... twas better after that... even after the upgrade...

what i wish they think of is something that you plug into the digibox and add some memory capacity...

I had all that done about 18 mths since, maybe it's time I got a new one

When I first got it, I couldn't get in emails for 6 mths, so anything is an improvement on that

Yep the memory thing is a problem, however a soundcard would be nice, and just getting rid of that idiotic firewall would improve things drastically, ah well! we live and hope

until i get the keyboard i have to put with a tempermental remote control & its making me go crazy, pass the scrumpy on please, will you please tell me what are the new upgrades on telewest going to be?

that's a good point; anything could be called upgrades really.... but from what i understand it's really trying to make the system work as it should be.... am i right kow?!....

I think it's just to help with faster channel changes, altho with mine there's never no sound when switching over.

Using the old on-screen keyboard was bad enough, the new one is terrible tho

It would be nice if things just worked ok tho
