Why do search engines find everything except what I'm searching for? Why do stores have everything in stock except what I'm buying?
Why can I find every cd I hate and a hundred that nobody knows existed, yet I can't find the one I'm looking for?

Brasil wins!!

Kudos to Brasil for the victory over Germany. I would have like to seen S. Korea beat Turkey though. Oh well. It's amazing how much people get into that sport. Living in America, such passion is odd to me. The biggest thing we have is the superbowl, and the commerical are a lot of times more amusing than the game. Soccer (all right, i'll call it football) is truly the king of all sports. So congrats to Brasil.

Is there anybody else out there that hates fortune cookies? They taste horrible, and they never have fortunes..I got a cliche one time...it said "Never look a gift horse in the mouth". What kind of fortune is that? If you ask me, they're not worth the 35 cents (or however much they cost).

Hello everyone (that is, the two of you who actually read this). If you've come here by mistake, think again. Read on, I might say something cool.
My real name is John Dishon. (anyone who watches Futurama will know where the h2g2 name came from). I'm 17 (will be 18 July 4, woo hoo!) and will be attending Western Kentucky University this August. I will be majoring in, you guessed it, journalism. (how the hell did you know that?)
As for what i'm thinking? well, i want to know why the website is h2g2.com. obviously it has something to do with the Hitchhiker's Guide, but i just can't make the connection. Is it because there are two words that start with "g" and two words that start with "h" (that is, if you spell hitchhiker as two words, which is just silly)? who am i kidding?, i don't really care.
Well, i'm tapped out of things to say.
