Greetings.
Born Derby, UK and now of an age where pushing 50 is exercise enough. Lived in Manchester for several years prior to coming to Australia on holiday in 1982 and, like many before and since, liking it and staying. Married to a Wagga Wagga lass, we have two teenage girls and are happily based on the Central Coast of NSW (approx 100 km north of Sydney).
Increasingly misguided career choices saw me eventually bottom out as a freelance computer programmer (typist / analyst / consultant, depending on the gullibility of whoever I'm talking to) and as a consequence we ricochet from obscene wealth to abject poverty with alarming frequency.
Keen listener to varied genres of music (Squeeze / Natalie Merchant / Tom Petty / Whitlams) and avid reader of anything. Any spare time is spent weeding, cleaning up after our dogs (Beagle and Cairn Terrier), and chasing away teenage boys.
