Hi Chris,
It snowed this morning and I spent 2-1/2 hours getting to work....40 minutes stuck in front of a Krispy Kreme (with their hot light on).
Would have gone good with the coffee at work.
Arggh...I have to leave for work in 5 hours. Why am I still out here? Guess my journal article didn't want to wait.
Birthdays are depressing.
Jealous of you know who. He got to talk with you and *I* didn't.
Gonna after sending a whole lot more care your way
care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care, care

That journal entry took real strength. It shows how far you've come from it, and I know it's going to help others to read it. It's already helped me.
Things like that would help to have an indication at the top about the content, by way of a trigger warning. I'm sure writing it was triggering enough for you, sometimes it helps to give people an advanced signal before reading it, so they can brace themselves.
But you did write it and it took a lot of courage. Thank you for having it.
Call me any time if you want, I'm not working again until Friday night. Leave me a message if I'm not in, I'll call you back.
But take some care too and have a good one.

That WAS dumb. I knew better than to post w/o a warning.
I have hidden the first post and re-posted the title including (**warning VERY triggering**). You've been out here longer than I have. Do you think it is sufficient. I don't want to cause anyone pain.
Thanks for the gentle reminder. Only excuse, it WAS late when I uploaded and my brain must have been asleep already.
I'm glad it helped you. Sorry, again for no warning. I probably managed to hit some of your triggers (again)..sigh. It certainly did help me and oh, yeah was it triggering as hell while I wrote it..reading it again when I reposted was hard too.
If you know anyone who you feel can benefit by reading it, please point them in the right direction.

It depends very much on the content, but key features such as:
'violence' 'persecution' 'blackmail' 'amateur dentistry'
- and so on, might be worth clarifying, so people know what sort of triggers they're dealing with if appropriate, and depending on how much they understand it, what kind of reaction they're likely to have.. for instance, 'amateur dentistry' would be no problem for me, but something like 'blackmail' would just get me angry and send me off into the world in a bad mood, which I'd then do well to manage responsibly, if I can.
I wasn't really triggered by that, or the other time that badly.. I seem to be pretty solid at the moment, though Summer's on its way, which is a whole other can of worms.
I'm going to get to work on a sort of overview of PTS (a fairly clinical approach I should mention, but it might help) and I'd appreciate any input you or can provide with it - it'll be on the bottom of my space. I'll certainly bring your posting to the attention of anyone who would benefit.
Well done again, take care

Original glazed? Wonder if you could get a franchize in Britain?
Reposted journal article, again, triggers now read abuse, rape, violence and suicidal thoughts. Also realized that I missed a few sentences. I've taken to carrying a notepad with me and I wrote most of it out longhand. Wonder if I just skipped them or was blocking? No matter. They're added now.
BTW - just how late are you up? It is a six hour time difference. I don't know if you keep vampire hours or are more conventional.
Key: Complain about this post
