Don't worry, is not that bad.
(have finished chamber of secrets, think tom riddle should be goodlooking, to add to the skywalker effect)

Catwoman Posted Aug 4, 2002

I'll stop if you like, just my private word association.
Thoughts on tom riddle please? (I want to talk about harry potter - this is why I force people to read books if I think they're good, because I need to talk about them)

I agree, should be "divine". Speaking of which, read divine secrets...(see my page), I don't have anyone to chat to about it and they've just made it into a movie.

from back: When Siddalee Walker, eldest daughter of Vivi abbott Walker (Ya-Ya extraordinaire-part Scarlett, part Katherine Hepburn, part Tallulah), is interviewed about a play she has directe, her mother is described as a "tap-dancing child-abuser". Enraged, Vivi disowns Sidda-devastating her daughter who postpones her wedding and puts her life on hold until she is granted forgiveness. Trying to repair the relationship, the ya-Ya's, Vivi's intrepid tribe of Louisiana girlfriends, sashay in and insist Sidda is sent "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood", a scrapbook of their lives together from the day in 1932 when they were disqualified rom the Shirley Temple lookalike contest for unladylike behaviour. Expected to raise babies, not Cain, the Ya-Ya's are bonded for life in an unforgettable exploration of the complexities of mother/daughter relationships and the power of female friendship."
I'm exhausted after typing all that!

Hey, I'm exhausted after reading it.
Will keep a look out, but unless I see it somewhere second-hand or in a library I can't promise anything.
Is it gonna be filled with references to a lot of stuff that doesn't make much sense outside of america?

No, it's a fairly easy read but you do go on one of those "rollercoasters of emtions"!

At the moment I'm reading a book by Anne Rice (she wrote Interview with the Vampire, which I haven't read) and it's kind of weird, not sure if there should be one to coem before it, or if it's just her style.
What colour do you want to be?

Pinwheel Pearl, GURU, Post Book Reviewer, Muse of Japanese Maples and Owlatron's Thundercat Posted Aug 6, 2002
Purple, it's my favourite.

Catwoman Posted Aug 6, 2002
I'll put you down for purple then.
(wow, I must be getting better at this GuideML thing if I can do colours)

You just have to remember that it's color and not colour. Why is a BBC site in American might I ask?
Were you disappointed...
Catwoman Posted Aug 8, 2002
I know! I think is because html generally is in american and it's based on that. Annoyng though, when you try to write things.
The Edited Guide stuff all has to be in actual english though, which is good.

I'm sorry, have you commited every rule to memory? *incredulous look*
Were you disappointed...
Catwoman Posted Aug 8, 2002
That would be a feat indeed.
No, I was talking to someone about how is spelt in american, but edited stuff must be in english english, and they said that you can't have smileys in edited stuff anyway so .
Were you disappointed...
Pinwheel Pearl, GURU, Post Book Reviewer, Muse of Japanese Maples and Owlatron's Thundercat Posted Aug 8, 2002
Not true, you can have smileys in an edted entry as long as it's the edited entry about smilies!
