well, lets see...
1. a)I would like to have the power to heal, although I really don't want to have one of those evengelical stage shows where I knock people over and run around in shiny clothes.
b)I would have to go with flying for all obvious reasons.
c)I would like the power of invisibility. When you're as paranoid as I am, believe me it would really come in handy!
2. a)Douglas Adams..you know he had to be at the top of the list due to the location of this forum, but truthfully..would I even have come here if he wasn't at the top of my list. OK, maybe i would have, but he is most definately at the top of my list. Smart (okay, brilliant), funny (okay, hilarious), and such a diverse creature he was!
b)David Byrne..how could you not want to meet David? Hejust has this sense about him, i think it's subdued madness.
c)Nefertiti..the woman was chief pharoahess to the man who chnaged the main god of the Egyptian religion. I would love to hear her point of view on the whole situation. Life with Akenaton, moving the whole cheif city of the empire, being one of many wives including the paroah's mother Tiye and even a couple of his daughters, ..and I would also like to know if it is true that she had one of her scribes dwon one of the other wives that pharoah had shwon some attention to and then cut the scribe's tongue out so he couldn't talk.
d)Morgan le Fay..if she actullay existed I think it was be amazing to meet her..Lady of the Lake, sister to King Arthur and mother of his child..what wonders could be told?
e)my soul mate..call me a romantic, but I know he's out there somewhere, and if I am going to have all of these people to dinner he has to do half of the dishes.
3. Well, being a 6' tall woman I would have to go with someone 9' tall. The way society is set up it is just more comfortable. Plus I have that elephant and mouse syndrome.
4. I don't think I would change the name of the Earth. It's a pretty good name I think..not too long or hard to pronounce, plus everybody knows it already. It's like if I decided to change my name to Veronica, all of my frineds would be like,"man, why did you go and do that!" and ,"Hey, stop hitting me in the head, VERONICA!"..so don't you think the earth would get some gripe from Pluto and Venus and the other planets?
5. It is a beautiful sunny day here in the Dirty South.

those are cool people to meet
though one time i put the bottom of my feet next to someone else's feet and she said we were soul mates...
and what if it were the first time you were going to meet your soul mate...that would freak me out
we would prob fight a lot or worry that it wasn't for real
however very good choice for a guest
i wouldn't want to change the name of earth either
but who knows...if i were an alien, maybe earth would be my home someday...

Well, I didn't necessarily mean that it would be the first time that I met my soul mate. I would want to have already met him and then have the dinner party. We could throw it together, yeah? Then he could hang out by the grill with Douglas and David while Nefertiti and Morgaine and I made salads and s**t.(not that I would ever live a life as stereotyped as that)
