Well dan-, I'm glad you like your job, anyway!
Welcome to h2g2! My name is Shea, and I am an Assistant Community Editor. We're a group of volunteers that wander about welcoming and helping new Researchers. If you want to ask me a question, or need help with anything, just hit the "Reply" button and leave a message, I'll pop back in and help you in any way I can!
If you're interested, I made a page with a list of links that you might like to check out. It's at A534953
If you ever want to talk to a Researcher, just click on their name. That will take you to their Personal Space, and you can leave them a message there (like I'm doing now!) by clicking on the 'Discuss this Entry' button.
Most importantly, have fun! You might find yourself meeting some great new friends! I know I have!

Ah, thanks. I've been reading most of the guides and familiarising myself with everything for a few weeks. Getting used to it now I think :]
I do have one question though. Say I search for something and I find an edited guide entry in the search results. Once I view the entry is there some way of finding out what category it's in in the guide. You know, so I can goto that category and see if there's any other articles in there that look interesting.
Apologies if this is a frequently asked question or it's covered somewhere else, or even if it's just me being blind, but I really can't find the answer anywhere. Any help would be appreciated :]

Hi dan-! Actually, that's a good question. I don't know how you'd find what category an Entry is in from the Entry itself. I can try to find out if it can be done or not. I'll have to get back to you on it, okay?

Hi again, dan-
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you on this.
I'm afraid you can't find out what category a particular article is in once you're already there. Apparently it's been requested on the new feature wish list ... we'll just have to wait and see if they decide to implement it. Sorry about that!
