Refugee from an apple forum
On Monday, Donna, Allan and Hamburger Helper, were suspended from posting on an apple forum somewhere in the USA for 30 days. They all received an impersonal email, which is too boring to repeat. Suffice it to say that the forum cops didn't specify the exact reason for their banishment, except for a vague reference to a post over the weekend.
Hamburger Helper had said that failure to subscribe to the mac "special plastics option" for $19.99 per year would cause your computer casing to revert to a 1999 gateway. The cops yanked the post. Hamburger Helper posted it on the X forum. That seemed to be an appropriate place. Donna and Allan joined in again. One thing led to another. They somehow got onto the topic of Ellen, the funniest switch commercial that apple had ever made. Donna said that she heard a rumor that Cheech and Chong had been in Ellen's dressing room right before the shoot. The thread was pulled. Then a rebellion started, with other posters demanding that the moderators stop deleting the Ellen posts because Ellen was the funniest thing apple had ever done... However, the moderators kept on deleting and deleting and deleting...
Donna came here seeking political asylum on the advice of another round peg in a square hole, Rod. She comes in peace.
